Dental Triturators

Dental triturators are designed for mixing dental materials packaged in capsules. Sometimes called amalgamators because they were originally used for mixing amalgams, these systems also are useful for mixing glass ionomers, and other materials. Triturators work by spinning the material capsule at high RPMs in order to allow centrifugal force to evenly and smoothly mix the material. When selecting a triturator look for a system that will easily fit on your countertop, and will be compatible with the capsule materials you prefer to use in your practice. As this is a piece of equipment that will be used often, it's a good idea to inquire about the warranty and customer service.
