 Reach Acquires Front Desk DDS

Reach, a scheduling platform, recently acquired Front Desk DDS.

Front Desk DDS, founded in 2012 as a dental answering service, was previously owned by Dental Whale, according to a press release. The official date of business operation under Reach will begin on October 1.

The acquisition strengthens Reach’s position as a leading patient service platform.

“As two front-runners in the practice service space, the decision to acquire Front Desk DDS solidifies Reach’s position as the industry leader,” said Cory Pinegar, CEO of Reach, according to the release. “We are strengthening our talent base and customer base and taking our services to the next level.”

With this move, Reach will grow its workforce, add hundreds of customers and expand offerings to include answering services, recall services and insurance verification services.

"Through Reach, our Dental Practice Service Organization (DPSO) members have access to professional schedulers trusted by thousands of dentists to verify insurance benefits and fill their schedules with new and overdue patients,” said Joe Cavaretta, CEO of Dental Whale, owner of Front Desk DDS, according to the release.
