Planmeca USA recently partnered with the new Modern Optimized Dentistry (MOD) Institute in Charleston, SC, to provide clinicians with evidence-based education.
By blending technology and technique, the pair will give clinicians the ability to leverage digital dentistry to achieve better patient outcomes, according to a press release.
Dr. Wally Renne, a global educator on digital dentistry, founded the MOD Institute and began with the idea that learning shouldn’t be intimidating or too complex. His vision included what he calls “practical skills for the Monday after,” meaning attendees can apply what they learn as soon as they return home.
The MOD Institute offers hands-on courses using the latest imaging and CAD/CAM technology from Planmeca. Course titles include Implant Restorations in the Digital Age, Block to Beautiful, and The Power of Partial Coverage Restoration. More courses are being added regularly.
Classes are scheduled to begin in November in Charleston.
