The D30+ ortho printer from Rapid Shape is now validated for use with Carestream Dental’s CS Model+ v5 Software.
This partnership makes it easy for practices to design and print clear aligners in-office, according to a press release. It allows both companies to expand the digital ecosystem for their customers.
Once a scan is captured from an intraoral scanner like the CS 3600 or CS 3700, CS Model+ v5 uses artificial intelligence to automate much of the design process. The software provides a degree of difficulty index, giving users more confidence when starting cases and creating intermediary treatment steps.
Once the case is designed, it can now be sent to D30+ ortho, a DLP printer that comes with patented Force Feedback technology. It also has a long lifetime and offers consistent quality over time.
D30+ ortho features an extra-large build area and produces validated ortho models and individual trays. The temperature-controlled resin reservoir provides process stability. The fast, accurate system can print up to six models in 20 minutes.
