Brasseler USA recently expanded its Feather Lite family of polishers by adding new shapes to the Dialite LD (Lithium Disilicate) and Dialite ZR (Zirconia) intraoral and extraoral polishing lines.
Intended to be used as the final polish for all ceramic restorations, Dialite Feather Lite Polishing Systems are two-step systems, according to a press release.
Flexible yet durable diamond-impregnated rubber polishing spirals adapt to any surface to create an enamel-like finish while preserving surface differentiations on ceramic materials, including zirconia and lithium disilicate.
The flexible spirals are designed to separate and “feather” out on all ceramic restorations to polish hard-to-reach areas, such as posterior and occlusal regions. Restorations polished with these instruments resist the formation of plaque, calculus and staining.
