VITA’S NEW ENAMIC® MULTICOLOR CAD/CAM BLOCK DELIVERS EXCEPTIONAL ESTHETICS AND LONG-LASTING RESULTS
New integrated shade gradient includes six finely nuanced layers for easy and efficient reproduction of natural shades
YORBA LINDA, Calif. —VITA North America has released ENAMIC multiColor, a new CAD/CAM block with an integrated shade gradient for highly-esthetic and long-lasting results. A line extension of the company’s innovative ENAMIC dual-network ceramic, ENAMIC multiColor is ideal for posterior, anterior and implant restorations, as well as veneers and can be milled either chairside or in the laboratory.
The block’s integrated, natural color gradient includes six finely nuanced layers with a smooth transition from cervical to incisal edge, providing a natural play of light for lifelike vitality.
As the industry’s only dual-network ceramic, ENAMIC multiColor boasts a dominant ceramic structure infused with polymer to deliver the same material properties of natural dentition. The material also includes clinically proven force absorption for exceptional load capacity as well as fracture resistance via an integrated “crack stop” feature for long-term results.
VITA ENAMIC multiColor also enables faster milling since no furnace is required post processing, and the restoration can be seated as soon as polishing is complete—simply mill, polish and place.
“In my practice, my patients expect high quality restorations with excellent esthetics,” says Dr. Daniel Vasquez of Oceanside, Calif. “VITA ENAMIC multiColor delivers with all the characteristics of natural dentition, as well as excellent shade match, which helps me create more successful anterior and posterior restorations.”
VITA ENAMIC multiColor can be milled as thin as .2 mm, preserving more patient tooth structure as part of a minimally invasive treatment approach. It is available for use with a number of chairside and lab milling systems, including CEREC, inLab and CERAMILL, as well as Roland CAD/CAM machines using a universal mandrel.
The material is available in a high translucency 12x14x18 mm block, and is available in VITA’s proprietary 3D-Master shades 1M1, 1M2, 2M2, 3M2 and 4M2.
