3Shape recently launched a new line of dental lab scanners to make CAD/CAM dentistry more affordable to dental labs.
The economical E scanners come with advanced scanning features and precision CAD/CAM workflows, according to a press release.
The scanners have two 5 megapixel (MP) cameras, Blue LED and multi-line high-speed scanning for optimal detail capture and accuracy, and are able to complete more cases in less time. Features such as 3Shape’s reliable impression scanning and Auto-start help improve lab productivity. Impression scanning makes it possible to scan traditional impressions without needing to pour a model, while Auto-start begins scanning as soon as the model is placed inside the scanner.
Labs also can now choose between two service agreements. The LabCare subscription offers high-value services as well as an optional warranty and replacement agreement. The basic package is a no-subscription program that offers limited services for free. This option is only available for E scanners.
