Clinical Rinses and Irrigants

Clinical rinses can make dental appointments more pleasant for both clinicians and patients. These rinses can be used prior to a prophy appointment to make sure patients have as clean a mouth and fresh breath before a hygienist gets to work. These rinses can be the same mouthwashes patients can buy over the counter, but other irrigants and prescription rinses are available for patients with acute needs.
