Endodontic Explorers

Endodontic explorers are used at the beginning of a root canal treatment to locate the canals. Typically fabricated from stainless steel for durability, these hand instruments allow clinicians to create an initial tracking groove by hand before using machine driven files to shape and cleans the canals. Most endo explorers have tips on both ends, and should be designed to allow easy access to the canals.
