The door tray slides into the sterilization chamber effortlessly for easy loading, while its convenient open-top design assures simple, fast and consistent instrument processing, saving time for the clinician.
The M3 fits on a counter or in a steri-center. Several handpieces and instruments can be accommodated in one load, and the tray is large enough to hold a standard Hu-Friedy®
Signa-Stat cassette.

MaxilloPrep Instruments KOMET USA LLC |
 |
MaxilloPrep stainless-steel instruments are designed for the safe and effective removal of bone and soft tissue during bone grafting and expansion procedures. The three instruments are:
Trepan burs (TRT.205.045/055/065) are designed for the removal of bone blocks. With its proprietary blade configuration, its cutting teeth are arranged in pairs, allowing a non-traumatic treatment for optimal results. Large perforations within its working parts allow for an unobstructed view of the site and facilitate the removal of bone cylinders. Depth marks around the periphery allow exact determination of preparation depth. Congruent Centering burs (TRC.205.045/055/065) precede the trepan burs and allow exact positioning and controlled guidance. Optimal centering and easy bone penetration is due to its triangular tip. And because of its staggered (inclined) front toothing, centering burs provide a non-traumatic treatment and the safe creation of a circular guide groove. The bore holes in its working part allow an unobstructed view onto the operative site. The bone chip extractor (9126.204.042/060) is designed with a self-centering tip ensuring correct positioning at the operative site. This rotary extractor allows precise, yet gentle removal of bone chips which can be collected and evacuated using any standard bone filter.
MaxilloPrep instruments are available in both a stainless-steel starter kit (Kit 4571, containing one of each instrument) or a complete kit (Kit 4572, containing all eight instruments, treatment tray and container for sterilization).

VISTAPure Distilled-Quality Water System Pelton & Crane |
 |
The VistaPure system produces two grades of water — distilled-quality water for autoclaves and ultra filtered non-corrosive water for bottles used with dental delivery systems.
The first stage is a prefilter that removes sediment, chlorine, chloramines, trihalomethanes and other contaminants by physical filtration, absorption and adsorption.
Next is the hyper filtration stage where pressure forces the water through a semi permeable membrane, removing contaminants at the molecular level. Impurities such as nitrates, sulfates, heavy metals, sodium, calcium and approximately 95% of other water contaminants are removed and rinsed away from the membrane and down the drain.
The water is then sent to a cartridge that contains both cationic and anionic resins for removing any remaining contaminants by a deionization process.
The final stage is a polishing filter. The finished water is then sent to a 2.7 gallon storage reservoir where it is easily dispensed for use.
The system is a standard feature of Solaris Sterilzation Centers. Added 04/23/2009 |

Osstell ISQ Implant Osseointegration Monitor Osstell AB |
 |
Engineered to provide an objective measurement of implant stability, the Osstell ISQ not only measures initial implant stability, but also monitors the development of osseointegration over time. The instrument employs resonance frequency to determine a numerical implant stability quotient (ISQ) that indicates the level of osseointegration and serves as a quantitative baseline for subsequent monitoring; levels range from 1 to 100 and the higher, the value, the more stable the implant.
Osstell ISQ helps the dentist make a well-informed decision about the optimal time to load the implant. By detecting implants that are not performing as expected it also helps avoid failing treatments.
The Osstell ISQ is described as exceptionally easy to use and extremely accurate. It comprises a display unit, a handheld probe, SmartPegs that attach to the implant during measurement, and data manager software. The software which is installed on a PC enables storage, viewing and printing of measurements made with the Osstell instrument. Added 04/15/2009 |

Master 3DS Cone Beam Imaging System E-WOO Technology USA Inc. |
 |
Designed for use in both private practice and institutional dental care facilities, the Master 3DS cone beam imaging system offers a new GPU solution--3D reconstruction time improved to less than 35 seconds with even less 3D CT scan time: 15 seconds for normal and 24 seconds for high def.
The field-of-view (FOV) selection provision enables the user to select the optimum FOV size (20x19/20x15 cm, 16x10 cm, 16 x 7 cm) and limits the radiation dosage to only the necessary level for examination contained to the region of interest. For example, the FOV size of 20 x 19cm captures a comprehensive 3D view of the entire oral and maxillofacial anatomy including the TMJ, sinus, and airways on a single 360 degree scan whereas the FOV of 16 x 7cm would capture both mandibular condyle and upper and lower occlusion area of oral anatomy.
EzImplant, the dynamic and efficient 3D image solution, offers comprehensive information for precise assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans by using the auxiliary functions such as measuring, canal tracing, cross-sectional viewing and implant simulation.
The Master 3D series provides a selection of voxel sizes which improves the overall image resolution. The smaller voxel size (0.164mm) offers the highest image quality while normal voxel sizes (0.3, 0.4mm) are suitable for diagnostic images with less reconstruction time and smaller file size.
With the new Master 3DS, there are 3 types of patient positioning – standing, seated (optional chair), and wheel-chair-confined patient accessibility.

Waterlase MD Turbo All-Tissue Dental Laser BIOLASE Technology, Inc. |
 |
Engineered to cut at speeds comparable to a high-speed handpiece, the Waterlase MD Turbo all-tissue laser operates in a non-contact mode (it never touches the tooth), using laser energy and a gentle spray of water to perform restorations without heat, vibration or pressure. A contra-angle handpiece with a computer designed optical tip replaces the traditional handpiece and its fiber tip.
The optical tip is capable of focusing the laser beam to a 500- or 700-micron diameter spot size, depending on which of two available Waterlase MD™ Turbo tips is used (MX5 – 500 microns, or MX7 – 700 microns). The beam maintains this spot diameter for a distance of approximately 1 3 mm at a distance of about 3 – 5mm from the tip, providing maximum cutting efficiency across that distance, for fast and effective Classes I –V cavity preparations.
Additionally, the Waterlase MD Turbo provides ultra-bright, shadow-free illumination and red aiming beam for enhanced visibility and tractability in the surgical field

Vanish XT Varnish 3M™ ESPE™ |
 |
Vanish™ XT Extended Contact Varnish is a site-specific, light-cured durable coating
that provides an immediate layer of protection to relieve dentinal hypersensitivity.
It is particularly helpful for protecting exposed, sensitive root surfaces, especially newly cleaned
surfaces following scaling & root planing.
The varnish remains on the tooth for six months or longer and is moisture tolerant, eliminating the need to dry or pre-treat the root surface. Its use requires no rubber dam. Offering fluoride, calcium and phosphate release, the resin-modified glass ionomer formulation significantly reduces dentin permeability by occluding dentinal tubules in-office for immediate pain relief. Vanish XT also protects the tooth surface from acid attack.
In vitro tests conducted with Vanish XT demonstrate that the coating:
• Creates a barrier against demineralization and acid erosion
• Provides protection beyond the coating
• Helps repair demineralized enamel adjacent to the coating
by fluoride toothpaste

ADSTRA Charting Treatment Planning and Charting Software ADSTRA Systems, Inc. |
 |
ADSTRA Charting Treatment Planning and Charting Software is now available as a stand-alone, after more than six years of being available only as a module (add-on) of ADSTRA’s practice management software. The Charting program integrates seamlessly with ADSTRA CLAIMS PLUS™ free management software program, which allows users to submit billing information electronically to Emdeon (formerly WebMD).
The comprehensive easy-to-use software program allows users to create and manage odontograms. Dental charts can be created for examinations, for completed treatment, and for planned treatment. There are four views of the chart: maxillary, mandibular, buccal, and palatal-lingual. The charting tools are grouped by type: general, periodontal, restorative, and endodontic. Multiple charts can be opened at the same time and pockets and recessions are represented graphically. A number of reports—or the whole chart as it’s viewed—can be printed.
ADSTRA Charting offers an array of tools for charting tooth conditions such as missing teeth, un-erupted teeth, partially erupted teeth, tooth rotation, impacted teeth, drifted, tilted, extruded, submerged, decalcification, hypercalcification, loose contact, open contact, root canal treatment, apical area, retrograde filling, pins, posts, root caries, complete crown, 3/4 crown, extraction needed, sealants, veneers, cavities, fillings, and many more. Users can set their own preferences for general chart, periodontal chart, restoration materials, and the connection between procedures and tools. Users can also define exam templates and incorporate them into the patient’s chart. Extra-oral examination and occlusal examination are built-in features.
The program also includes the ability to input, store, and review measurements for periodontal readings. Users can measure and enter gingival recession and pocket depths, and chart bleeding, suppuration, furcation, blunted papilla, cratered papilla, erosion, attrition, abrasion, and mobility. For charting plaque, a special surface map appears. Users can compare exams for values or changes in pockets or recessions, and calculate indices.

Satelec Extraction Kit Ultrasonic Surgical Tips Acteon, Inc. |
 |
Compatible with Satelec's Piezotome™ and ImplantCenter™ devices, this kit of six ultrasonic surgical tips has been specifically developed for extractions (total or partial): avulsions, hemisections and root amputations. Features include:
Ease and speed: the slimness of these tips associated with ultrasonic technology facilitates their access inside the desmodontal space;
Surgical safety: With the selective cut, tips are inactive on soft tissue and sensitive anatomical components. Without any inertia, the regular to-and-fro movement decreases the risk of lesions on adjacent teeth and roots. The use of this kit will also provide benefit to patients who will experience:
- swift and less traumatic treatment that respects the alveolar plate;
- less post operative pain.
This kit consists of:
Five Ligament Cutting tips intended for syndesmotomies and periradicular osteotomies. With differing shapes and orientations, they address the morphological constraints without damaging neighboring tissue and anatomical elements. Combined with the action of ultrasonic micro-oscillations, they achieve, with just a simple sweeping movement around the tooth, detachment of the periodontal ligament in order to facilitate avulsion of the tooth outside the alveolus.
One Ninja™ tip, with double saw-tooth edges, developed especially for hemisections and root amputations, this tip is also recommended for sectioning impacted teeth. The Ninja’s selective and accurate cut allows the practitioner to achieve faster and less invasive surgery.

PerioSeal Dental Implant System PerioSeal, Inc. |
 |
Designed to eliminate the risk of loose prosthetic screws, PerioSeal implants offer a collet locking connection that rigidly secures the abutment in the implant, thus eliminating micro-motion and subsequent screw loosening. The implant is constructed with a conical opening above an internal hex; the interior of the implant is not threaded. The abutment is held in place by a locking mechanism that expands when a screw inside the abutment is tightened. This proprietary feature eliminates the possibility of broken or stripped screws preventing the use of an implant. If a problem occurs with a screw in the abutment it can be easily removed and the implant will not be damaged.
The abutment locking feature is a sliding nut that moves when the screw in the abutment is loosened or tightened. It is important to make sure the screw is not tight (locked position) prior to insertion of the abutment or it will not go into the implant. Healing caps, ball abutments, provisional and cone top abutments use an expanding nut to lock the component into the implant. The interior of each PerioSeal Implant has six precision index features that allow repeatable placement in sixty-degree increments. The index corresponds to the locking nut on the abutment, and the hex feature prevents the rotation of the abutments.
The Implant Abutment Junction (IAJ) of the PerioSeal Implant System is hygienically closed. The prosthetic margin of the crown is placed apical to the IAJ; thus, the IAJ is captured within the cemented crown eliminating the possibility of harboring bacteria within the IAJ. By capturing and sealing the IAJ within the crown, PerioSeal Implants eliminate a potential haven for organisms adjacent to healthy bone and soft tissue.

IrriVac™ Positive & Negative Pressure Root Canal Irrigation Instruments ASI Medical, Inc. |
 |
ASI’s titanium IrriVac root canal irrigation instruments have simultaneous suction and irrigation for improved, thorough cleaning and disinfection of canals. The "over-the-needle" suction tube allows placement of an irrigation needle into the canal, and while the irrigant is dispensed, it is suctioned off at the same time. The additional turbulence and generous amounts of irrigation that can be easily dispensed, offers improvements in cleaning. The IrriVac is available in both a positive needle pressure version and a negative pressure version. An ideal complement for use with ASI’s Micro Evacuator for final rinsing, evacuation and drying, the IrriVac™ is an upgrade to ASI’s Micro Irrigation System and can be upgraded for one or more handpieces or select a combination such as one standard for EDTA, one positive pressure IrriVac for dispensing sodium hypochlorite and gross material removal and one negative pressure for final cleaning and irrigation with sodium hypochlorite.
IrriVac™Negative Needle Pressure Dispenses solution through the tubing funnel onto the needle and then as it flows down into the canal is safely suctioned up through the needle and removed. The process of pulling irrigating solution down into the canal removing through the end of the needle can provide improved cleansing and disinfection of the apical portion of the canal.
IrriVac™ Positive Needle Pressure Dispenses solution through the needle while the suction funnel suctions off spent irrigating solution from the top of the access as the solution flows upward within the canal. Use ASI’s Micro Evacuator for fast final rinsing and drying. Just insert any standard needle onto the Micro Evacuator for quick evacuation of canal spaces. Titanium body and inert Luer type connector allows use with all standard disposable Luer lock needles and is unaffected by harsh irrigants, including bleach. Fits standard 7/32" saliva ejector tubing for connection to a solids trap on your assistants package or as an integrated option on your ASI delivery system.

Accupal Palatal Anesthesia Injection Preconditioning System Accupal Inc. |
 |
ACCUPAL is a cordless, compact, handheld device that effectively pre-conditions the oral tissue to receive virtually pain-free palatal or other intraoral dental injections.
ACCUPAL incorporates four known and proven pain-reducing theories into one economical, user-friendly device:
- ACCUPAL incorporates the "Pain Gate" theory to energize the dental tissue in and around the site to be punctured by the needle.
- ACCUPAL's ultrasonic tissue stimulation disrupts the tissue injection site to allow standard topical gel to pre-condition the injection site, thus further reducing the needle’s pain-producing effects.
- ACCUPAL vibrates the needle at the injection site. The pain-reducing effects of direct needle vibration are well documented as having a positive effect on injection comfort.
- ACCUPAL ensures that the clinician inserts the needle bevel at its narrowest point, which provides the most minimally invasive path possible and reduced tissue damage to deliver a consistently comfortable palatal injection.
The economical ACCUPAL is available online at www.accupal.com. The complete starter package, which includes the ACCUPAL cordless handpiece, 50 disposable tips, a patient education CD-ROM and a clinician training CD-ROM, is priced at $479.00 plus shipping and handling.
