or high costs due to individual abutments can be excluded or discussed with the patient beforehand. In the same manner, any possible jeopardization of the long-term stability due to asymmetrical stress can be recognized and prevented in the planning stage. The dentist imports the virtual CEREC model and the restoration design to the 3D x-ray volume and can take all prosthetic consequences into consideration. In addition, the gingival contour can be displayed exactly by the optical impression from CEREC. Based on this planning, an extremely precise and inexpensive drilling template can be ordered directly from the laboratory or directly from Sirona. |
