The new Satelec® Suprasson® P-Max multiclinic piezo ultrasound generator has a new innovative and practical design. Thanks to the SP Newtron™ control module, it recognizes the tip frequency and automatically adapts the current in real time to the resistance encountered to ensure consistent performance (Satelec patent). Its new multi-function footswitch can control the main functions, leaving the dentist’s hands free to concentrate on the treatment. The new Suprasson Newtron scaling handpiece is fully autoclavable and can easily be dismantled, providing great access to the transducer. The spray is simply adjusted with a ring situated on the cord. The irrigation kit (optional) includes 2 independent 450 ml sterilizable containers and a new cord with a built-in external irrigation line (Satelec patent). With the Color Coding System (CCS), the background-lit color display instantly and clearly indicates the power range in use. Green – yellow – blue – orange : each color represents the ideal power configuration and performance level of the ultrasonic tip in a given clinical situation, from gentle biofilm removal to vigorous crown loosening. Green stands for low power (ultrasonic treatment of pockets), yellow for medium power (endodontics), blue for high power (scaling) and orange for very high power (special applications).
Moreover, the Boost function enables to increase power at any time in every power range.
