The Cascade® 1040 Chair is designed to offer a balance of
both comfort and access to the patient. Cascade’s thin-profile
backrest casting, for example, allows you to get your legs
comfortably under the chair. To keep thickness to a minimum
while still offering comfort, the chair upholstery features layers
of different foam densities—one for lumbar support, one for
overall support, and one for contoured comfort. And to provide
even more cushioning for your patients, you can choose to have
your Cascade chair fitted with optional Plus upholstery.
