MF-Y solder is one of dentistry's most popular presolders. It flows magnificently and bonds beautifully to both noble and base metals. In fact, unless you need a white solder or want a silverless solder to compliment your silver free alloy, we suggest MF-Y for virtually all ceramic metals. Whenever possible, select a presolder with a high end melting range value at least 100F (40C) below the low end of your alloy's melting range..The above is sold in 5 dwt wire.
