A native New Yorker, Dr. Alan E. Zweig has been practicing cosmetic dentistry in Beverly Hills since 1981. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1973 and in 1976 received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the same institution. In 1978, after practicing dentistry in St. Louis and teaching at his alma mater, Dr. Zweig moved to Los Angeles to study the specialty of Prosthodontics. He received his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from USC in 1980. In 1984, Dr. Zweig was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Zweig continues to improve his craft by taking an average of 30 units of continuing education yearly. Dr. Zweig and his staff attend annual classes through the California Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry, along with other accredited institutions. He has studied esthetic dentistry with department specialists from the University of Southern California and UCLA. He has also attended implant courses taught by specialists of international renown.
